About Clau: I am an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and divinatory practitioner based in Chicago. Sprouting from the lack of information on body modification practices from my heritage, I developed an interest in alternative library work as means of alchemizing lost information. My work evolved into reimagining archival spaces and Latinx narratives through storytelling and divination, often merging together aesthetics from both academic library spaces and familial archives and altars.
